Appearance: Lois is an attractive female, with brown hair and hazel eyes. She stands about 5'8" and is left handed. Like everyone in Smallville, she has a tendency towards wearing brightly colored clothing. :P
Personality: Lois' personality is most heavily influenced by her unusual childhood as an army brat, and her relationship with her father and sister. Living in a military environment with a father who held her to incredibly high standards turned her into the tough as nails, stubborn, irrepressible and incredibly driven person that she is. Since her mother died when she was very young, she was without a real female role model, and it shows in her more aggressively masculine demeanor. She's able to run with the boys in every department: whether kicking butt with karate, winning drinking contests against frat boys, or just holding her ground when anyone tries to boss her around. She's always quick to rise to a challenge; as Clark puts it, when things get difficult, that's when she gets interested.
Lois has a strong sense of curiosity and justice, which makes it really difficult to throw her off a scent - a skill that later will serve her in her career as a journalist. This sense of morality no doubt comes partly from growing up in a culture of intense patriotism - though Lois has been known to bend or break a few rules to achieve that justice. Lois herself was forced to grow into the responsibility of this role quickly, and as such, never had much of a childhood of her own. I resolved that tight funds issue for a little while down at the local cantina - apparently these hotshot pilots hanging around there doubted a "civvie" could hold her alien liquor. I gotta say, you can't get anything like that Corellian brandy back home.

She wasn't dumb enough to remain one of the slack jawed masses though. Scooping up the datapad, she started shoving her way unapologetically past the crowd.
"'Scuse me, whoa there, out of the way, Princess Peach," she litanied, as she drove her way through people who didn't so much as peel their eyes off the Sith ships for a moment.
Had to run, had to hurry, had to -do- something.
She was a General's daughter, after all, and robots or no robots, lightsabers or no lightsabers, she wasn't going to stand down from the face of a war where civilians were on the line.
